When I walked in the door of FXB Stillwater in October, 2016, I had no idea what to expect and was a little nervous. I had recently recovered from surgery for a completely torn Achilles' tendon, I knew no one, and I hadn't put on a pair of boxing gloves since I was a little girl. It was hard, but I quickly learned that there were many people there to support, push, and help me through it. There is a bonding that happens; before you know it, youre making friends who are going on this journey with you.
I found out along the way that I enjoyed helping and watching other people strive to succeed in their 10 week program. I wanted to help them reach their goals and be there for them! So, I became a kickboxing instructor. The smile on the faces of someone who learns a new kick or punch on the bag is the best feeling!!
I'm a strong family person and love animals, hiking, quiet walks, working on projects and, of course, water skiing.
